One of today’s biggest expenses when operating a tractor is fuel.
Setting the correct engine speed to achieve maximum tractor performance can save you as much as a gallon per hour. For detailed instruction, please refer to section 5 “constant engine speed control operation” of the operator’s manual.
Having trouble getting enough clearance height for your implement in transport? Are you tired of wondering whether your ripper is going to hit the ground while in transport because you only have 3 inches of clearance between the center shank and the road? Well, you solution is here. CNH has now made an option for longer lift arms. By adding the new lift arms, this will add approx three to four inches of height vs the standard hitch of only two and a half to three inches of clearance. The longer lift arms allow the implement to have a higher degree of angle which in return allows you to get higher clearance at the base. There is one draw back by this: Your lift capacity will go from having 17,920 lbs to now only having 15,970 lbs. Still enough for most implements. This is definitely an option I would consider having.
